Where is the OUTRAGE?

Blitzer: Bush seemed to be suggesting that Democrats wouldn't be tough enough on terror

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Whether it was deliberate or not, President Bush now has directly interfered in the Democratic presidential battle in this final stage of the nominating process. His Knesset speech in Jerusalem on the 60th anniversary of Israel’s independence was widely seen as raising serious last-minute warnings about Barack Obama’s foreign policy strategy.

“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” he said, without referring to Obama by name. “We have heard this foolish delusion before.”

And then, the president dropped the bombshell – making the comparison to the appeasement of Hitler and the Nazis.

His remarks were seen as a direct condemnation of Obama’s assertion that he, as president, would be willing to meet directly with the leaders of Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela – among others.

There is no doubt that Obama’s critics, especially Republicans, want to raise questions about his readiness to be commander in chief. They think that his experience is limited. They also say that on many national security issues, he’s a blank slate.

So is the president’s assertion in Jerusalem his way of raising some flags even at this last moment? I don’t know. I do know that those kinds of pointed words don’t get into a carefully-drafted presidential speech without a lot of consideration and discussion.

The above full quoted text is purported to be political journalism by Mr. Blitzer. How DARE the President of the United States make a political comment about the policies of the country he heads! HOW DARE HE!! Especially if democrats disagree!

Oh! Typical of the media arm of the democrat party the President's speech before the Knesset was just over 22 minutes in length. Of that Mr. Blitzer pulls TWO sentences to base an entire article upon. There were roughly 350 comments appended to this brief article but I spared you the tedium of having to wade through their radical left wing deranged rambling. Nearly all referred to the President in some derogatory term, most commented on how "stupid" he is, the majority contained spelling errors, grammatical errors or both.

As for the presumption of the President being stupid. To me it would be well worth the expense to put each and every individual who thinks that way in the cockpit of an F-102 Delta Dagger and have them simply take off and land from an aircraft carrier. Hey! Our "stupid" President can do it... should be a piece of cake for "really smart" people, huh? Unfortunately.... we simply don't have enough of those aircraft for the task..... perhaps we could get one "genius" to pilot and just strap a few dozen lesser intellects on the wings. That exercise alone would probably elevate the average IQ of the country by 15 points.

Now about the title.... Where is the OUTRAGE? What I mean is where is the outrage by the conservatives and the republican (small "r" until they grow a pair) party over this sort of slant journalism? The media and the democrat party have been criticizing and undermining the President's ability to conduct foreign affairs since he was elected! Day in and day out! With the cable channels it a 24/7 non-stop assault of lies, half truths, misstatements, statements taken out of context and just plain old made up stuff if nothing else works.

Every single day there is the usual parade of Liberal talking heads and democrat (small "d" until they grow some brains) politicians on the "news" networks. It's a sickening non-stop hate fest as these mental midgets disparage the administration, it's policies and it's elected leader without ONCE offering a plan beyond surrender and appeasement. Surrender and appeasement seem to be their solution to every international problem. All internal "problems" such as nearly full employment and a booming economy can be solved with massive tax increases... but I digress.

For all of President Bush's first term and, so far, all of his second term the media and the radical left (read today's democrat party) have done nothing but speak ill and evil of the President and his administration. One of the candidates for President even went so far as to indicate that the new "patriotism" consists of nothing more than being in constant disagreement with the administration. I wonder how she'll feel about that "policy" IF she happens to find her butt filling the big chair in the oval office? My guess is that she'll be really upset there aren't gulags in America..... yet. Perhaps she could make a deal with Mr. Putin.

I'm retired military and I can tell you first hand that no one likes going to war. It's a decision no President wants to make or makes lightly. It's a nasty business in nasty places and the costs in both men and material are staggering. That being said the Constitution places upon the President (Commander in Chief) the responsibility of defending both the Constitution and the Nation. The people who proudly volunteer to serve this great country as members of the armed forces all understand that conflict or war is a possibility during their period of service. These are the people who understand fully that some things ARE worth fighting for yet train every day in the hope that their skills will not be needed in conflict.

The folks doing all the bitching and moaning are the sames ones who, every single day, gave all their lunch money to the playground bully. They lacked the intestinal fortitude then to stand for anything and they still display that same lack of self respect. What they offer to try to placate their feelings of inadequacy is loathing for anyone who has the courage and the conviction to stand for something. Why the Vidkin Quisling's and Neville Chamberlain's of this world are propped up as hero's by the left.... even after history has shown their actions to be 100% wrong is beyond me. Yet... the left today still talks of appeasement. It is one of the altars at which the liberal pray.

So long as the left and the Liberals have a stranglehold on both the media and the "education" (indoctrination) system in this country the slant "journalism" and one sided "reporting" will continue. The government schools will continue to crank out brainwashed skulls full of mush who have been force fed the rewritten history of this great nation. Kids are being taught that Ronald Reagan nearly destroyed the world (ended the cold war by confronting the Soviets) while Bill Clinton (blow jobs off the oval office and stained blue dresses) was the greatest President in the history of the world. The first.... a man who loved this country more than anything, lauded it's greatness to the world and had so much respect for the office he refused to even remove his suit jacket while in it! The second... a man who still loves himself more than anything, tears down this country today every chance he gets and disrespected the office enough to drop trow in it. Kids today can't even see the difference. Some education.
